Job Description Required Experience/Knowledge/Skills Servicing mission-critical computer and network equipment across multiple locations with at least 200 workstations and 10 servers Experience with MS Virtual Servers (VMware) Extensive experience with Windows 7, 8.1, & 10 operating systems Experience with Windows server platforms (e.g., 2008, 2012) Experience with Microsoft System Center software Experience with Microsoft Exchange (2010, 2013), including migrations Experience with FortiNet and Cisco Firewall hardware/software Experience with large-scale storage devices (StoneFly, Buffalo, TerraStation) Experience with VOIP phone systems (Cisco, Zultys, Avaya) Certification and working knowledge of security standards for the Virginia Supreme Court and Virginia State Police, including VCIN, LiveScan, and related firewall security practices Coordinate with the IT Department for Network Service calls Respond to service requests with pre-qualified technical personnel Maintain confidentiality and security of all computer systems and data Install, configure, support, and document network server hardware, including setup and final testing Diagnose and repair hardware and peripheral equipment for computers and network devices Perform maintenance and testing, including hardware inspections and troubleshooting Assist with hard drive recovery and documentation of services Ensure compliance with software licensing and maintain inventory records Support warranty management and renewal procedures Coordinate troubleshooting with telecommunications providers during outages Optionally develop and arrange for disaster recovery plans IT Hardware and Software Familiarity: Microsoft Active Directory FortiNet Firewall/Client Network servers (including VM servers) Printer hardware support for HP LaserJet series Remote network connection support for problem resolution Respond to emergency support calls, especially VCIN connectivity issues, in the absence of IT staff. Assist with migrating from Microsoft Exchange 2010 to 2013.
