Network Administrator Senior Apply

RMC is hiring an on-site Senior Network Administrator to support a Hybrid Cloud environment at NSWC Dahlgren. This candidate will be responsible for assisting with infrastructure planning, maintenance and troubleshooting within a fast-paced DoD Cloud environment.
Requirements
- Knowledge of multiple IT environments including server and cloud-based platforms.
- Knowledge and comprehension of secure build techniques, tools and practices of DISA Secure Technical Implementation Guidelines (STIG).
- Extensive knowledge and experience in network configuration and network security. Including configuration and management of network switches, firewalls, VPN, DNS, and routers. Prefer knowledge and experience with Juniper and Cisco.
- 10 years of experience in network design and implementation, in large multi-platform environments.
- Five (5) years’ experience in deploying various network configurations, devices, software and services that provide maximum and efficient performance local (LANs) and wide area network (WANs).
- Five (5) years’ experience collaborating with other leads to evaluate and update configurations, hardware, software and other deployments to assure environments are optimal and consistent with short- and long-term strategy.
- Five (5) years’ experience in creating and maintaining documentation of the network.
- Three (3) years’ experience in providing assurance to the confidentiality, integrity and availability of networks.
- Three (3) years’ experience in troubleshooting and supporting computer solutions, associated software and hardware, network, server, and PC, as relating to network infrastructure.
- Two (2) years’ experience in performing hardware repairs for equipment and peripherals that are not covered by third-party vendor maintenance agreements.
REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS
- CCNP is required. (Per DoD Directive 8570.01-M or successor, this position will require IAT Level II or higher certification).
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Network Engineer Associate is strongly desired. Will be required to obtain and maintain certification within 60 days of employment.
REQUIRED CLEARANCE
- An Interim DoD secret security clearance is required to start.
- Applicant must be able to obtain a Top-Secret Clearance. Selected applicant may be subject to a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

* Salary at RMC is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, a candidate's specific combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific requirements. The current salary range for this position will be $115,000.00 to $131,000.00 annually.
