Position Summary The Network Administrator supports enterprise network operations with a focus on firewall and branch infrastructure staging, troubleshooting, and deployment support. This role prepares network equipment, assists with modernization initiatives, and diagnoses network issues across company locations. Occasional travel may be required to support site upgrades or integrations. The position is intended for a developing network professional building a long‑term career in networking. The role emphasizes practical troubleshooting, strong documentation discipline, and the ability to execute standardized deployments in a production environment. Key Responsibilities Troubleshoot network connectivity and infrastructure issues and provide technical diagnosis Stage and prepare firewalls, switches, and wireless equipment for standardized deployments Assist with branch network rollouts and modernization projects Support Cisco IOS‑XE switching and Cisco Meraki switching/wireless environments Support FortiGate firewall and Fortinet infrastructure platforms Validate equipment readiness before shipment to sites Assist with new site builds and integration activities Support SD‑WAN branch environments Escalate complex issues when appropriate Document configurations, site conditions, and troubleshooting findings Maintain accurate network diagrams and deployment records Collaborate with Helpdesk teams during network incidents Assist with maintenance windows and after‑hours work when required Travel occasionally to support onsite installations or remediation Required Qualifications 3‑5 years of networking experience Hands‑on experience with FortiGate firewalls Familiarity with Cisco IOS‑XE switching environments Experience with Cisco Meraki switching and wireless platforms Exposure to FortiManager and FortiClient EMS Understanding of SD‑WN technology concepts Working knowledge of QOS fundamentals Ability to troubleshoot independently in production environments Strong documentation and organizational skills Clear communication and escalation discipline Demonstrated commitment to a career in Networking Preferred Qualifications Experience with FortiSwitch platforms Familiarity with OpManager Cisco or Fortinet certifications Experience participating in infrastructure upgrades or site deployments Exposure to templated or standardized network rollouts Travel Requirements Based on business needs #J-18808-Ljbffr
