Responsibilities
- Monitors, tests, maintains and repairs network and infrastructure elements.
- Monitors network, server, and application elements, resolve incidents and service requests and/or consult with the subject matter expert team for incident resolution. Applies simple state-of-the-art technology to meet and improve network control center.
- Configure network and system resources, and maintain corresponding system records and documentation. Provides Tier II support as per SME agreements. Performs periodic maintenance and monitoring of computer systems. Performs pre-configured port activations on network switches.
- Prepares and reviews documentation for use in operations for training and knowledge base. Participates in training and cross training for the Tier II. . Provides customer service for all information and/or telecommunication network systems support areas.
- Monitors mainframe, applications and batch processing. Responds to issues, alerts, incidents, tickets and resolve incidents and service requests and/or consult with the subject matter expert team for incident resolution. Meets agreed sla time requirements.
