Job Title: Network Engineer

Location: Remote

We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualification

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, configure, and maintain LAN, WAN, VPN, and cloud-based networks.
• Implement and manage firewalls, routers, switches, and other network devices (Cisco, Juniper, etc.).
• Monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure minimal downtime.
• Configure and maintain network security policies, access controls, and threat detection systems.
• Support VoIP, wireless, and remote access solutions.
• Perform regular backups, disaster recovery planning, and network upgrades.
• Document network configurations, diagrams, and troubleshooting procedures.
• Collaborate with IT teams and external vendors to optimize infrastructure performance.
• Ensure compliance with security standards (NIST, ISO, SOC, etc.).

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
• Experience in network administration or engineering
• Proficiency with network protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VLANs, MPLS, etc.).
• Hands-on experience with firewalls (Fortinet, Palo Alto, Cisco ASA), routers, and switches.
• Knowledge of network monitoring tools (Wireshark, SolarWinds, PRTG, etc.).
• Experience with cloud networking (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) is a plus.
• Experience with cybersecurity best practices and network hardening techniques.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, CompTIA Network+, or CISSP are a plus.
• Federal Experience is a plus.
• Required Security clearance.
