We are looking for a skilled Network Engineer to join our team on a contract basis in Glencoe, Illinois. This role is an exciting opportunity to collaborate on critical projects, focusing on data loss prevention, Azure cloud solutions, and Office 365. The position also involves providing support to end users and assisting with network infrastructure tasks.

Responsibilities:
• Manage and implement data loss prevention strategies to safeguard organizational information.
• Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot Microsoft Azure cloud services and Office 365 environments.
• Provide technical support to end users, ensuring seamless operation of network systems.
• Maintain and optimize Ubiquiti-based network infrastructure across multiple locations.
• Collaborate with team members to address networking challenges and streamline workflows.
• Monitor and maintain switches, routers, and other essential network hardware.
• Assist in backfilling the current network engineer’s responsibilities to enable focus on specific recovery projects.
• Ensure the proper functioning of devices and systems across five locations with approximately 100 users and 300 devices.
• Document processes and procedures to enhance operational efficiency and knowledge sharing.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies to propose improvements to existing systems.• Proven experience with data loss prevention and related technologies.
• Strong expertise in Microsoft Azure and Office 365.
• Solid background in network engineering, including configuration and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with Ubiquiti network infrastructure.
• Ability to manage switches, routers, and other networking equipment effectively.
• Experience supporting end users in a focused and organized environment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
