Requirements:
IT work experience in infrastructure/network environments in network operations, support, maintenance, and administration (7+ years)
Experience performing network engineering (hardware and/or software), design, planning and implementation. (3+ years)
Ability to lift 50 pounds when necessary.
Travel to remote locations to provide support, as needed

Preferred:
Related networking certifications
Experience with HPE/Aruba networking equipment

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Possess expertise in network configuration spanning DMARC to workstations, fiber distribution, routers, switches, DHCP, and topology to ensure excellent Quality of Service (QoS).
Plan, implement, and forecast copper and fiber network systems (including wireless) of moderate complexity, managing resource requirements effectively.
Mentor junior staff on patch management, network management, fault identification, and data/telecom access.
Extensive experience with enterprise switching products, including capacity and risk assessment, contingency planning, and lifecycle management.
Active participation in team projects, meetings, and assignments.
Must know the OSI model and how it pertains to the flow of data throughout the environment.
Proficiently configure and manage network switch equipment, ensuring protocol compatibility, system tuning, and enhancement recommendations.
