This position will be full-time and onsite.What You’ll DoResponsible for strategic planning, design, and optimization of network infrastructure, including copper, fiber, and wireless technologiesDevelop cutting-edge network solutions using current and emerging technologiesTranslate business needs into effective network architecture, recommending hardware, software, and design strategiesEnsure compliance by reviewing documentation and collaborating with other teamsManage configuration and maintenance of routers, switches, and wireless access points, with attention to protocol compatibility, system tuning, and performance enhancementEvaluate and recommend new products while staying updated on emerging technologiesProactively monitor network performance, conduct capacity planning, and offer improvement suggestionsProficient in troubleshooting and devising resolution protocolsAssume Project Leader role for enterprise-wide initiativesStrategize infrastructure equipment replacement, adhering to security standards and ensuring timely system updatesCollaborate with Information Security Teams on firewall rules and Payment Card Industry compliancePlan, implement, and forecast various network systems of moderate complexity, managing resource requirements effectivelyDocument technology solutions, network configurations, and insights from monitoring and management toolsActive participation in team projects, meetings, and assignmentsMentor junior staff on patch management, network management, fault identification, and data/telecom accessEnsure accurate incident tracking and asset management through service desk ticketing and department inventory control systemsCreate, update, and maintain documentation related to network performance monitoring and troubleshootingTravel to remote locations to provide support, as neededParticipate in after-hours (evening & weekend) on-call rotation and escalationPerform additional duties as assignedWhat You'll NeedRequired:7 years of IT work experience in infrastructure/network environments in network operations, support, maintenance, and administration3 years enterprise networking experienceBachelor’s Degree or Technical Institute Degree/Certificate in Information Systems or related fieldsCisco certifications in Network Professional, Design Professional, Security Professional, and Voice Professional domainsPossess expertise in end-to-end network infrastructure, including DMARC to workstations, fiber distribution, routers, switches, DHCP, and topology, ensuring excellent Quality of Service (QoS)Extensive experience with HPE/Aruba Switching products, including capacity and risk assessment, contingency planning, and lifecycle managementMust know the OSI model and how it pertains to the flow of data throughout the environmentDeep understanding of networking design and implementationProficiency with enterprise networking hardwareCloud networking experienceStrong analytical and problem-solving experienceEffective communication, collaboration, and mentorshipPreferred:Experience with HPE/Aruba networking equipment is highly desiredPhysical Demands:Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state, and local standardsSedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitorAbility to lift 50 pounds when necessaryReasonable Accommodation StatementIf you require a reasonable accommodation in completing this application, interviewing, completing any pre-employment testing, or otherwise participating in the employment selection process, please direct your inquiries to application.accommodations@cai.io or (888) 824 – 8111.Equal Employment Opportunity Policy StatementCAI is committed to equal employment opportunity.
