Join to apply for the Network Engineer role at Sanderson Pipe Position Network Engineer Summary The Network Engineer will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining the network equipment and VDI environment. Supervisory Responsibilities None Reports To I.T. Manager Duties/Responsibilities Manage and maintain information technology and provide support for hardware and software computer systems. Provides training, consultation, and recommendations about future and development of resources to ensure maximum access and implementation of technology services. Implement and coordinate the various stages of information systems and electronic data processing operations. Knowledge of and ability to troubleshoot all hardware, software, and network operating systems while monitoring virus and security protection. Install workstations for all staff and users and provide assigned network access. Provide IT support to all staff as needed on existing and new technology. Any other duties assigned by my supervisor. Required Skills/Abilities Knowledge of Windows operating system and VMWare administration. Knowledge of network administration. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Servers and VMWare. Education and Experience Associate degree in a computer related field or three years equivalent work experience. Physical Requirements Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds at times. Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
