Job Description

As a Senior Network Engineer, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our network infrastructure, with a focus on Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Azure cloud migration, and VMware. Your expertise in these areas will be crucial in ensuring the smooth operation and security of our network systems.

Job Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain network infrastructure, with a specific focus on Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Azure cloud migration, and VMware.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and execute network projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement necessary solutions to optimize network efficiency and reliability.
  • Conduct regular network assessments and audits to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary upgrades or changes.
  • Ensure network security by implementing appropriate access controls, firewalls, and other security measures.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies related to network engineering, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Azure cloud migration, and VMware.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior network engineers, fostering a collaborative and knowledge-sharing environment.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Senior Network Engineer, with a focus on Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Azure cloud migration, and VMware.
  • In-depth knowledge of network protocols, routing, switching, and network security.
  • Strong experience with Microsoft 365 administration, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, and Teams.
  • Proficiency in Active Directory design, implementation, and management.
  • Hands-on experience with Azure cloud migration and management.
  • Expertise in VMware virtualization technologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Relevant certifications such as CCNP, MCSE, Azure certifications, and VMware certifications are highly desirable.
