What You’ll Be Doing Provide day-to-day infrastructure operations support across server, network, and application environments Configure, deploy, and troubleshoot enterprise technologies Perform network adds, moves, and changes including VLAN and switch port configuration Monitor infrastructure systems and respond to alerts Participate in incident, change, and problem management processes Support disaster recovery and business continuity initiatives Collaborate with engineering teams and elevate issues appropriately Identify opportunities to improve system performance and reliability What They’re Looking For Virtualization Experience Hands‑on VMware administration (ESXi, vCenter) Experience provisioning and troubleshooting virtual machines in production environments Enterprise Server Experience Experience working with HP (HPE) or IBM server hardware Comfort supporting physical infrastructure and troubleshooting hardware issues Networking Knowledge Experience configuring VLANs and managing switch ports Exposure to Cisco switching environments preferred Understanding of load balancing, remote access, and SD‑WAN concepts Operations & Process Experience working in structured IT environments (incident, change management) Familiarity with ITIL‑based processes Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills Additional Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field preferred Strong communication skills and ability to clearly explain technical processes CCNA certification is a plus Ideal Candidate Has solid experience in enterprise infrastructure environments Enjoys hands‑on troubleshooting and operational support Communicates clearly and works well cross‑functionally Thrives in structured environments with established IT processes Beacon Hill is an equal opportunity employer and individuals with disabilities and/or protected veterans are encouraged to apply.
