Job Description:Infosys is seeking Network Hands and Feet Support Consultant. This role requires close partnership and collaboration with other Infra Engineers and Subject Matter Experts. Required Qualifications: • Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Ladson, SC or Tuscaloosa, AL or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel.• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.• At least 4 years of Information Technology experience.• At least 3 years of experience in configuration, installation, management and troubleshooting of Network routing/switching/wireless network/factory network• Experience in application transport and network infrastructure protocols SSLTLS, DNS, DHCP, WINS, NTP, RADIUS, TACACS, AAA, FTP, HTTP, SMTP, CIFS, LDAP, and Microsoft AD.• Working in 24x7 operations support.• Support team in resolving critical technical issues during crisis situations• Coordinate with remote technical team and users for any service request, incidents, technical requirements• New installation and configuration of network, security equipment, escort third party suppliers and • Coordination with suppliers requiring onsite troubleshooting/installationPreferred Qualifications:• Take part in discussion with Business Team/SME’s to understand the requirements and work with architect team to implement optimal solution• Engaging problem management process for root cause determination & permanent corrective action.• Training L1/L2 colleagues on various operational topics both technical and process.• Driving service improvement and customer satisfaction• Customer interaction skills• Experience in running operations with ITIL processes / ITIL certified.• Excellent Analytical and troubleshooting skill.• Excellent in Verbal, written communication.• Certification in network routing and security technologiesThe job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time.
