Job Summary Blue Mantis is hiring a Network Systems Administrator to support multiple customers in the NJ/Philadelphia PA area. The role involves managing servers, cloud environments, and networking for large enterprise customers. Responsibilities Manage and maintain Windows, Linux, and Unix environments to ensure optimal performance. Administer cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and Office 365 for enterprise workloads and containerization. Configure, troubleshoot, and optimize VMware-based virtual environments for performance and availability. Use monitoring platforms like SolarWinds and Datadog to ensure network reliability and performance. Lead incident resolution for network-related issues, meeting SLAs and escalating when necessary. Implement and enforce secure networking solutions in on‑premise and cloud environments. Create and maintain detailed network documentation, including topology maps and troubleshooting procedures. Required Skills Strong experience with Cisco Nexus/Arista/Meraki Switches, Cisco Wireless Controllers, and Windows, Linux, and Unix environments. Hands‑on experience with AWS, Azure, Office 365, VMware, and infoblox DNS management. Backup and disaster‑recovery support for solutions such as Rubrik and Zerto. Experience with firewalls, routing protocols, and network monitoring tools like SolarWinds. Familiarity with automation tools and scripting. Excellent problem‑solving skills with the ability to adapt to dynamic priorities. Preferred Skills Network troubleshooting in data center environments (Cisco, Palo Alto, Meraki, Arista). Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, Bash). Knowledge of cloud‑based networking solutions in AWS, Azure, or Office 365. Infrastructure capacity planning and performance tuning. Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and container orchestration. Familiarity with security best practices, SIEM platforms, and endpoint protection. Advanced video streaming technologies and CDN experience. Qualifications Provide game‑day support on major holidays when games are played. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent hands‑on experience. Certifications: CCNA, CCNP (or equivalent), ITIL, and technical certifications related to servers and/or cloud (preferred). Demonstrated expertise in a complex, multisite environment.
