We are looking for an experienced Network/Systems Administrator to join our team in Ridgeway, South Carolina. This contract-to-permanent position offers an opportunity to support and maintain critical IT systems in a dynamic manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in network management, system administration, and technical troubleshooting.
Responsibilities:
• Maintain and optimize factory IT systems, including servers, network infrastructure, and devices used by end-users.
• Diagnose and resolve connectivity issues related to switches, firewalls, and wireless networks.
• Provide hands-on technical assistance to office and production staff, addressing hardware, software, printer, and user access concerns.
• Ensure production-critical IT systems remain operational and minimize downtime.
• Collaborate with external vendors and corporate IT teams to address technical challenges and implement effective solutions.
• Monitor system performance, conduct regular data backups, apply patches, and enforce basic cybersecurity protocols.
• Manage network cabling and ensure proper configuration for LAN and WAN technologies.
• Support and troubleshoot issues related to Microsoft 365 and Active Directory environments.
• Implement foundational practices for system monitoring and maintaining IT equipment.
• Assist with the installation and configuration of Cisco routers and other network devices.• Proficiency in managing firewall technologies and Cisco networking systems.
• Solid experience with Active Directory and Microsoft 365 Enterprise.
• Knowledge of LAN and WAN technologies, including basic network troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with network cabling and the ability to work in tight spaces.
• Previous experience supporting IT systems in a manufacturing or plant environment.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Relevant certifications in IT or networking are highly preferred.
• Bachelor's or Associate's degree in a related field is advantageous.
