Overview: GovCIO seeks a Network Administrator (SME) to support our U.S. Coast Guard program. This hybrid role is based in Kearneysville, WV, with significant on-site presence required.  Responsibilities: Administer and maintain SIPRNet network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, TACLANEs, and encryption devices, ensuring compliance with DoD and DISA security standards Implement and enforce security configurations and hardening across network devices, servers and endpoints in accordance with STIGs and RMF requirements Conduct vulnerability scans (e.g., ACAS, SCAP), analyze findings and remediate security issues to maintain system accreditation Develop and maintain detailed network documentation, including architecture diagrams, configuration baselines and change control records Support RMF lifecycle activities by preparing and updating accreditation artifacts such as System Security Plans, POA&Ms, and eMASS entries Monitor system performance and security alerts; troubleshoot connectivity, authentication and configuration issues within classified environments Collaborate with cybersecurity teams, system engineers and program leadership to align network resources with mission requirements Participate in technical reviews and change control boards; provide expert recommendations on design modifications and security posture improvements Stay current with emerging technologies, DoD cybersecurity mandates, and best practices for classified network operations  Qualifications: High School with 10+ years (or commensurate experience)Clearance Required: Secret clearanceRequired Skills and ExperienceCurrent DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification (e.g., Security+ CE, CCNA Security, SSCP) Minimum 5 years of experience with Cisco routers (39xx, 4xxxx, 8K), switches (29xx, 38xx, 9K), and firewalls (55xx and above) 3 years of active experience with TACLANEs (KG 175D, F, N, and G) and GEM management console at a configuration and engineering build level  Preferred Skills and Experience     US Coast Guard experience is highly preferred Experience with these software and technology platforms: Cisco ISE, DoD Zero Trust implementation, F5, Infoblox DNS and Palo Alto firewallsExperience working directly with government leadership or senior military officialsGDMS TACLANE school attendanceStrong interpersonal skills, problem-solving skills, and time management skills       #JP #USCG #DICE Company Overview: GovCIO is a team of transformers--people who are passionate about transforming government IT.
