We are looking for a skilled Network Technician to join our team on a contract basis in Evergreen Park, Illinois. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the seamless installation and maintenance of network systems, including hardware and cabling. Responsibilities:
• Install and configure patch panels, switches, firewalls/routers, and access points to ensure optimal network performance.
• Label all cables and ports systematically for easy identification and troubleshooting.
• Perform cable installations with precision to support stable and efficient connectivity.
• Set up network systems and associated hardware in line with established standards and requirements.
• Conduct regular inspections and testing of network equipment to identify and resolve potential issues.
• Maintain accurate documentation of network configurations and installations.
• Collaborate with team members to address technical challenges and implement effective solutions.
• Ensure compliance with safety and technical protocols during all installation and maintenance activities.
• Provide timely updates on project progress and address any concerns that arise.
