A confidential U.S. litigation practice is seeking an IP litigation attorney with meaningful patent trial experience in the Eastern District of Texas. This is a trial-forward role for an associate attorney who wants hands-on responsibility in sophisticated patent disputes, with a clear opportunity to grow into long-term leadership.WHY THIS OPPORTUNITY STANDS OUT- Trial-focused patent litigation, including matters venued in the Eastern District of Texas- Meaningful responsibility and direct involvement in case strategy and courtroom preparation- Opportunity for long-term growth, including partnership-track progression- Flexible setup supported by a streamlined litigation platformTHE ROLE- Serve as a core contributor on patent litigation matters from early strategy through trial- Draft and argue motions, including dispositive and Daubert motions- Manage fact and expert discovery, including written discovery and depositions- Support claim construction work, including Markman briefing and hearing preparation- Prepare witnesses, develop trial themes, and build examination outlines- Coordinate with technical experts and synthesize complex engineering concepts for advocacy- Communicate with clients and help drive day-to-day case managementLOCATION, SCHEDULE AND COMPENSATIONLocation:Texas (Eastern District of Texas focus)Schedule:Hybrid, in office 3 days per weekREQUIREMENTS- 2 to 5 years of patent litigation experience- At least 2 patent trials in the Eastern District of Texas (first-chair or second-chair experience strongly valued)- Active Texas bar admission in good standing- Juris Doctor from an accredited law school- Engineering degree with strong academic credentials- Demonstrated ability to work with complex technologies and translate technical concepts into persuasive legal arguments- Excellent legal writing, issue spotting, and professional judgment, including strong ethics and rules awarenessPREFERRED BACKGROUND- Experience litigating matters involving complex technologies such as biotechnology, software, or other high-technology subject areasFor a confidential and non-obligation call to learn more about this opportunity, please apply below or forward your resume to waisanlee@wearerevolution.co and we’ll be happy to discuss this position in more detail.
