Overview A confidential opportunity is available with an established plaintiff-side labor and employment litigation practice in Miami. This role is suited to an associate who wants hands-on litigation responsibility, meaningful client interaction, and the chance to support employment matters that can include complex disputes and class actions. Why this opportunity stands out Plaintiff-side labor and employment litigation with substantive, responsibility-forward work. Structured training and mentorship, with opportunities to contribute to case strategy and client-facing work. Exposure to investigations and fact development, including in-person interviews and fieldwork as needed. Support for business development initiatives, including access to a marketing budget. The Role Handle core employment litigation tasks including pleadings, motion practice, discovery, and case management. Draft position statements, discovery responses, and other substantive advocacy and case documents. Participate in investigations, client interviews, and evidence development. Support matters that may involve employment-related class actions. Work directly with clients on sensitive employment issues, prioritizing professionalism and trust. Location, Schedule and Compensation Location: Miami, Florida Schedule: In office 5 days/week (minimal work-from-home initially due to the on-site nature of investigations and interviews). Requirements Admission in good standing to the Florida Bar. Juris Doctor from an accredited law school. Labor and employment law experience within a litigation-focused practice. Strong legal research and writing skills, including drafting substantive litigation filings and discovery materials. Excellent interpersonal skills and sound judgment when advising and working with clients on sensitive workplace issues. Preferred Background Prior experience in a labor and employment-focused firm environment. Experience supporting employment litigation matters involving class action allegations.
