Position: Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) / Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

Start Date: 12/30/2024

Duration: 13 Weeks

Location: Newington, NH, 03801

Shift Type/Shift Times/Hours/Day: Days, 8

Shift Notes: Mon-Fri 5:30 am - 1:30 pm, Sat 5:30a - 10:30a (40 Hour Guarantee)

Weekend Requirements: Sat 5:30 am -10:30 am

On-Call Requirements: None

COVID-19/FLU Requirement: na

Traveler Policy: na

An ideal dispensing nurse candidate works cooperatively with supervisory counseling staff and demonstrates a non-judgmental and accepting attitude toward Substance Use Disorder.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Administer daily medication to patients following program policy and medical protocols.
  • Use automated dispensing system(s), calibrate pump, and maintain dispensing equipment
  • Produce and maintain appropriate records and reports as required by Company protocol, Federal and State Regulations
  • Ensure compliance with security standards for the distribution and storage of controlled substances as outlined in the Code of Federal regulations
  • Order, receive, and stock medication following DEA and State regulations. (If granted Power of Attorney)
  • Provide daily assessment of patients
  • Assist the Nursing Supervisor in orienting new nursing staff
  • Other related duties as determined by the supervisor
SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS
  • 1+ years of Medication Administration - Required
  • Opioid Addiction Center Experience - Highly Preferred
  • BLS - Required
  • Skills Checklist - Required
  • Two Supervisory Reference Forms - Required
CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
  • BLS
STATE LICENSE REQUIREMENTS
  • New Hampshire
