Job Title: NOC Cloud Engineer

Location: Forts Worth, TX (Onsite 4 days a week) - Only local candidates

Essential skills

  • Strong technical background with extensive experience in Managing Azure and AWS (IaaS)
  • Proficient in building and troubleshooting cloud-native services such as Virtual Machines, Storage, Managed Databases, Server less components etc.
  • Deep knowledge and troubleshooting skills in cloud networking such as VPN, Gateway, vNet, route table, load balancing, NSG, CIDR/Blocks, etc.
  • Identify potential threats and weaknesses of existing cloud infrastructure and conduct regular security assessments.
  • Design Network and System architecture for implementing core cloud infrastructure technologies to support enterprise applications.
  • Design solutions and configure High Availability & Disaster Recovery, Backup, and monitor using cloud services.
  • Design cloud-focused solutions leveraging modern devops tools and methodologies to modernize legacy systems and infrastructure.
  • Balancing and deploying workloads in the cloud and creating cost-effective cloud infrastructure.
  • Plan and execute the migration of existing applications and workloads to the cloud and cloud to On-premises, ensuring minimal disruption and maximum efficiency.
  • Experience working with Microsoft SQL databases and deployment in Azure SQL, AWS RDS, and SQL Always ON.
  • Experience working with Software and Hardware vendors to troubleshoot technical issues.
  • Collaborate with Hardware vendors to understand business requirements and translate them into BOM and technical solutions.
  • Managing the Product Lifecycle and technology updates, involving the study of new products, components, and features, proof of concept, and lab validation.
  • Experience with ITIL best practices with Incident, Problem, Release, and Change Management within Service Now.
  • Flexible for US-hour shift and out-of-hours support if required.

Desirable skills

  • Knowledge in in VMware and Hands-on experience in installation, update, upgrade, and troubleshooting OF ESXi, and vCenter.
  • Good understanding of traditional Storage protocols (NFS, FC, iSCSI)
  • Knowledge in troubleshooting with Windows, DNS, IIS and Linux-based systems.
  • Deploying cloud resources using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) Terraform
  • Familiarity with any of the scripting such as PowerShell, JSON, AWS CLI etc.
  • Exposure to Latest Generation Dell Servers, Dell storage such as SAN/NAS/DAS and Cisco Router/Switch.
  • AWS Profession Certification or Specialty Certification would be a good to have.
  • Similar certifications on Azure is also a plus.
