NOC Engineer - 67166
Pay Range - $35 - $40/hr
One of our clients is looking for an NOC Engineer to join their team on-site in Mount Weather, VA.
IMP NOTE:-
- Clearance: Will need to obtain Public Trust
- Hours: 2 shifts
- Day shift: 9am-5pm
- Night shift: 4pm-12am
Technical Qualification & Requirements:
- Proficiency in Cisco Voice Over IP, Avaya Aura Audio Conference Bridge, multiplexers
- MUST HAVE 1: Cisco Call Manager OR Cisco CUCM Unity OR Avaya PBX Anyone
- Expertise in Cisco switches and routers, TCP/IP, and Windows.
- Ability to plan, evaluate, and configure routers, bridges, and other network devices.
- Expertise in monitoring, troubleshooting, configuring, and managing voice, data, and satellite networks.
- Experience with the operation and management of systems associated with satellite tracking and providing digital data services to mobile satellite trucks and portable flyaway dishes.
- Availability for occasional travel and other duties as assigned.
Gov Qualification & Requirements:
- Monitors, troubleshoots, configures and manages the Department of Homeland Security (FEMA) voice, data and satellite networks.
- Coordinates with FEMA personnel to provide Tier 2 "expert" assistance in all aspects of operating and managing the FEMA Transport Network (FTN).
- Requires experience with voice and data systems (e.g., Cisco Voice Over IP, Avaya Aura Audio Conference Bridge, Cisco Call Manager, Cisco CUCM Unity, Avaya PBX, multiplexers, Cisco switches and routers, TCP/IP and Windows) to include planning, evaluation and configuration of routers, bridges and other devices
- Operation and management of systems associated with satellite tracking, providing digital data service to mobile satellite trucks and portable flyaway dishes
- Support new hardware/ software acquisition and installation of aforementioned products.
- Work is performed at the Mount Weather Emergency Operations Center (MWEOC) Network Operations Center, backup location may be Winchester Virginia and may include a requirement to telework from personal residence on occasion.
- Overtime, shift work and weekend tours will be required. Occasional travel may be required, or other duties as assigned.
