Located in Howard Beach, we are known as one of the top destinations for events and hospitality in Queens.

Our dedicated sales consultants are committed to providing exceptional guest experiences. They work closely with our team members and collaborate with our valued clients to create unforgettable, personalized events, ensuring that their needs and preferences are met with utmost attention to detail. We are seeking an exceptional individual to provide support to our sales consultants in delivering outstanding experiences. As a Banquet Sales Assistant, you'll have the opportunity to work closely with the lead consultant. Your main responsibilities will include making sure guests have a delightful experience, handling customer communication, organizing events, and driving event sales. The ideal candidate is committed to delivering exceptional service and thrives in a dynamic hospitality environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Our main focus is to ensure that our guests have an exceptional experience. We strongly believe that effective communication plays a crucial role in achieving this objective.
  • Delighting leads and customers with personalized outreach and follow-ups to nurture meaningful relationships.
  • Responsible for scheduling and managing appointments for consultant(s).
  • Coordinate with customers regarding final counts, booking details, and vendors.
  • Ensure that all customers are followed up with to confirm the details of their events.
  • Engage with potential leads and continue with follow-up calls.
  • Assist in updating Salesforce and oversee the management of customer records.
  • Pull necessary reporting and information from Salesforce and review it accordingly.

Requirements

  • Adapts easily to a dynamic hospitality setting and possesses strong multitasking skills.
  • Excellent Verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience of 2+ years in the hospitality industry is desired (not required)
  • Familiarity with computer software (e.g., Microsoft Office, Salesforce, etc.) preferred
  • Experience with restaurant POS systems, menu systems, and/or Salesforce preferred

Full Time Position - In Person

Hourly Rate $28 (Salary commensurate with experience)

Work Schedule - Weekdays, weekends, holidays, during the day, evening, and night, with durations of 8 hours
