Overview:
Responsibilities:
We are hiring for the following positions:
- Part-Time 40 hours biweekly: Every Thursday & Friday and every other Monday 7A-330P; On Call & Holiday Rotation
- Work a minimum of 4 shifts per month (8 or 10-hour shifts) in Nuclear Medicine at Phoenixville Hospital & PET Scan at the Limerick Outpatient Center, according to department needs.
- Take a minimum of 1 weekend of on-call per month (Saturday and Sunday 8 am-4 pm)
- Take a minimum of 2 holidays of on-call per year (Christmas, New Year's, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving).
- The Nuclear Medicine Technologist integrates scientific knowledge and technical skills with effective patient interaction to provide quality patient care and useful diagnostic information.
- Demonstrates understanding of human anatomy and physiology, chemistry, nuclear physics, mathematics, and pharmacology.
- Administers radiopharmaceuticals and adjunctive medications to obtain diagnostic images and/or provides therapy as ordered by a physician.
- Ensures the delivery of quality care to pediatric through adult patients using professional and ethical judgment along with critical thinking in performing duties.
- To maintain CNMTB/ARRT certification, Nuclear Medicine Technologists must complete appropriate continuing education requirements to sustain a level of expertise and awareness of changes and advances in practice.

Education Requirements
- Post High School Diploma Program
- Relevant Experience
- BLS Certification
- CNMT Certification
- NCT Certification within 12 months of hire
- NMTCB certification or Certification and registration in Nuclear Medicine by the ARRT. Certification eligible Nuclear Medicine technologists hired upon graduation must be certified and registered (ARRT(N) and/or CNMT) within 6 months of their graduation date to remain employed.
