Weekly Pre-Tax Pay: $2726
Hourly Pay: $37.00
Weekly Stipend Total: $1246
One-time Travel reimbursement - $500
Overview
We are seeking an experienced Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMT) to join the McLaren Health System team. The technologist will prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals, operate imaging equipment, and collaborate with physicians to deliver high-quality diagnostic data. This role requires strong clinical skills, attention to safety, and the ability to work in a fast-paced hospital environment.
Assignment Details
  • Experience Required: Minimum 2 years as an NMT
  • Specialty Requirement: Cardiology imaging experience required
  • Certification Requirements:
  • NMTCB certification (required)
  • BLS certification (preferred)
  • Schedule: Full-time contract assignment (specific shifts to be determined)
  • EMR: Cerner
Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals for diagnostic imaging or treatment.
  • Operate nuclear medicine equipment to generate images of organs, tissues, and physiological processes.
  • Explain procedures clearly to patients and ensure compliance with radiation safety protocols.
  • Maintain imaging equipment, troubleshoot as needed, and ensure safe, efficient operation.
  • Document procedures accurately and maintain patient records.
  • Collaborate with physicians to interpret results and support diagnosis and treatment planning.
  • Contribute to patient care and research by providing accurate, high-quality imaging data.
