As we continue to grow, we currently have a tremendous opportunity for a Travel Nuclear Medicine Technologist who is up for the challenge.
We are currently seeking a Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist to work under the direction of a physician and perform a full range of nuclear imaging for our Mobile Cardiac Imaging Program. This is a 100% Travel opportunity. The Nuclear Medicine Technologist would be reimbursed for all gas mileage incurred for travel, and hotel accommodations would be paid for by Cardiac Imaging, Inc., as well as per diem to cover food expenses.
Responsibilities
- Conducting complex diagnostic scans and imaging using PET/CT and SPECT/CT technologies
- Preparing patients for imaging procedures and administering radiopharmaceuticals
- Verifying patient identification and obtaining medical history
- Reviewing and documenting images for interpretation by physicians
- Communicating critical findings to the appropriate medical personnel
- Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of radio-pharmaceuticals, radiation safety, and procedures
- Collaborating with radiologists, physicians, and other members of the healthcare team to ensure patients receive high-quality care
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology or related field (preferred)
- Certification by the ARRT or CNMT
- 1+ years of experience in nuclear medicine
- Knowledge of nuclear medicine procedures and techniques
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to work flexible hours and be on call as needed.
- Overnight travel required throughout the country.
