  • Job Type: Permanent
  • Shift: 12-hr Days | 07:00 AM - 07:00 PM
  • Guaranteed Hours: (36 hours/week)
  • Compensation: Based on experience (Negotiable)

Job Summary:

The Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NM Tech) performs nuclear medicine, PET, and theranostic procedures under the supervision of a Radiologist. These procedures are conducted on both ambulatory and hospital patients as requested by a physician or licensed provider for the diagnosis of diseases and injuries. The technologist ensures all procedures are performed according to established protocols and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine procedures, including PET imaging.
  • Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals following regulatory and safety guidelines.
  • Operate and maintain imaging and radiation detection equipment.
  • Ensure accuracy and quality of imaging studies while minimizing radiation exposure.
  • Maintain proper documentation and patient records in compliance with facility and regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
  • Adhere to all infection control, radiation safety, and departmental policies.
  • Participate in continuing education and training to maintain professional competency.

Required Qualifications:

Education:

  • Graduate of an accredited program in Nuclear Medicine Technology.

Certification / Licensure / Registration:

  • ARRT-N Registered Nuclear Medicine Technologist through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • CNMT Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist through the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB).
  • Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required (or obtained upon hire).

Experience:

  • Prior experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist.
