Basic Job Functions: Nucor Steel Arkansas is seeking qualified applicants for the position of NCC Technical Representative with a focus on pre-paint products. Principal duties of the successful candidate will include: Participating in safety and housekeeping efforts Leading process optimization efforts to improve product quality, consistency, and cost performance across the production process Providing technical support and training for all operational activities Utilizing statistical process control (SPC) and data-driven analysis to identify opportunities and drive continuous improvement initiatives Collaborating cross-functionally with operations, maintenance, quality, and commercial teams to resolve technical challenges and enhance product performance Investigating product claims, performing root cause analysis, and interfacing with pre-paint customers to address technical issues and ensure customer satisfaction Supporting the development and implementation of standardized practices that improve operational reliability and product quality Traveling to customer locations, vendors, and other Nucor facilities as needed to support technical evaluations, claim resolution, and product development activities, including occasional travel on short notice.
