Job Summary Status: Part time Department: 34431 Atrium Health Lincoln - Nursing: Med Surg 2E Benefits Eligible: No Hours Per Week: 0 Schedule Details/Additional Information: 7 p‑7 a Pay Range: $20.80 – $31.20 Education / Experience High school diploma or GED equivalent. Completion of a state Board of Nursing approved Nurse Aide II course or nursing student listed as a Nurse Aide II. Licensure, Certification, and Registration Applicable state Board of Nursing listing as a Nurse Aide II. Registered as a Nurse Aide I with the applicable state Department of Health and Human Service Regulation. Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) required. Essential Functions Completes clerical duties for patient admissions and assembles medical records. Ensures complete, confidential, accurate and timely communication of patient information. Handles and screens incoming calls, and transmits messages as necessary. Communicates to the team, co‑workers, patients and family members in an effective, positive and professional manner. Contributes to a safe, secure and therapeutic environment for patients, visitors, physicians and co‑workers by following established procedures. Conducts work in an organized, quiet, efficient manner and demonstrates the ability to cope with stressful situations. Performs NA1+4 skills within the guidelines of the medical facility's NA‑1 Enhancer Program. Provides or assists the patient with personal hygiene, comfort and activities of daily living under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. Completes assigned unit responsibilities and assists other staff members in completion of their duties when time permits. Provides age/developmentally appropriate patient care in accordance with Age/Developmental Specific Care Guidelines for the specific age groups served. Skills & Qualifications Strong oral and written communication skills. Reliable and maintains a professional appearance. Good computer skills. Performs effectively with frequent workload changes and competing demands. Knowledgeable of all patient level care (pediatric, adolescent, adult, geriatric). Work Environment Frequent contact with patients, family members, visitors and medical staff under a wide variety of circumstances. Subject to moderate/high stressful conditions and multiple interruptions. Clean, well‑lit, comfortable climate. Physical Requirements Standing, walking, sitting, bending, reaching, finger and hand dexterity, talking, hearing and seeing. Lift up to 20 lbs, carry up to 50 lbs, push/pull up to 100 lbs.
