**This position floats to all of Behavioral Health Inpatient units, The Link, BHS Urgent Care, and Behavioral Health Adolescent Addiction Unit**You will enjoy this Behavioral Health setting if you are Nurse that:

Position Highlights:
- Opportunity to experience a variety of inpatient settings
- Work with staff from many areas
- Average 1 LPN for 7-8 patient ratio
- 100% self-schedule
- Student Loan Repayment: This LPN position is eligible for Avera’s Student Loan Repayment Program, which helps you pay off your loans and save money. Each month an extra payment of $167 (up to $10,000) from Avera will help pay down your principal balance faster.

A Brief Overview The LPN practices under the supervision of a registered nurse, advanced practice registered nurse, licensed physician, or other health care provider. The LPN organizes and directs those aspects of care for which he/she is accountable; communicating and coordinating care with well-defined nursing diagnoses, including all health team members. What you will do- Collects data and conducts a focused nursing assessment of the health status of a patient.
- Participates with other health care providers in the development and modification of the patient-centered health care plan.
- Implements nursing interventions within a patient-centered health care plan.
- Assists in the evaluation of responses to interventions.
- Provides for the maintenance of safe and effective nursing care rendered directly or indirectly.
- Advocates for the best interest of the patient.
- Communicates and collaborates with patients and members of the health care team.
- Assists with health counseling and teaching.
- Delegates and assigns nursing interventions to implement the plan of care.
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Board of Nursing An active license in the state of practice Upon Hire
