This is a role for an L&D leader who wants to stay clinically connected but also have real influence.

The department is established. Volume is steady. The team is experienced.

What leadership wants now is consistency, accountability, and a culture that supports both outcomes and engagement.

What You’re Walking Into

  • 34 beds across L&D, OB, and Triage
  • Oversight of approximately 55 FTEs
  • Direct partnership with a supportive Director of Women’s Services
  • Executive visibility within a 150-bed hospital

You will help shape staffing strategy, quality outcomes, and team standards.

Where You Will Make Impact

  • Strengthen frontline leadership presence
  • Support clinical competency and cross-training
  • Improve collaboration between L&D, OB, and triage
  • Drive patient experience and regulatory readiness
  • Reinforce accountability while protecting team morale

Who This Will Resonate With

  • Experienced L&D Managers who want stronger executive partnership
  • Assistant Managers or Clinical Leaders ready for a broader seat
  • Hands-on leaders who care about culture as much as metrics

Background they’re looking for

  • RN required
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred (or 4+ years of direct experience in lieu)
  • 5+ years of L&D clinical experience
  • 2+ years of leadership in Women’s Services preferred
