Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Nurse position located at Ringing Rocks Elementary School a K-2 building. The Nurse will be responsible for providing health care services to students, including administering first aid, managing medications, conducting health screenings, and developing individual health plans. The individual will also collaborate with staff and families to promote health education and assist in ensuring compliance with health regulations and requirements in the school environment. The role involves both proactive and responsive care, focusing on the overall well-being of the student body. Qualifications Proficiency in first aid, emergency care, and administering medications Experience in creating health care plans and managing chronic health conditions in children Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills to work effectively with students, families, and school staff Understanding of health regulations, compliance requirements, and school health policies Ability to assess and manage various medical situations calmly and effectively Valid nursing license and qualifications; a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent is preferred Prior experience working in a school or pediatric setting is advantageous Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive environment for all students #J-18808-Ljbffr
