VHS is actively recruiting qualified professionals to join our team in McClellan Park, CA, starting March 2, 2026. In this role, you will provide comprehensive family medicine services, utilizing your expertise to improve patient outcomes and promote wellness. You will collaborate with a dedicated team of healthcare professionals, ensuring high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced setting. This position is ideal for those passionate about family medicine and eager to contribute to a community-focused healthcare environment.

Required Skills:

  • Master's degree in nursing from an accredited program
  • Current, active, and unrestricted RN and Nurse Practitioner licensure
  • Certification as a Nurse Practitioner by the ANCC, AANP, or equivalent
  • Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
  • Proficiency in electronic medical records and basic computer skills
  • Knowledge of pharmacological agents, disease processes, and clinical care principles
  • Strong documentation and patient management skills

Nice to Have Skills:

  • Experience in a family practice or primary care setting
  • Bilingual abilities or additional language skills
  • Familiarity with California healthcare regulations and laws

Preferred Education and Experience:

  • Graduate from an accredited nursing program recognized by ACEN or CCNE
  • Clinical experience demonstrating competency in family medicine
  • Knowledge of medication administration, patient education, and follow-up care

Other Requirements:

  • Willingness to work 8-hour day shifts, five days a week
  • Ability to adhere to all state and federal healthcare regulations
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and quality improvement

This position offers an hourly pay rate of $80.00, with additional benefits including paid federal holidays, health and wellness benefits, paid sick leave, and vacation after one year of service.
