Position Overview

NorTek Medical Staffing is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) for a permanent, full-time urgent care position in Roxboro, NC. This is an outpatient role focused on delivering high-quality care in an urgent care setting.

Key Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive care in an urgent care outpatient setting.

Conduct assessments, diagnostic tests, and treatments for a variety of urgent care conditions.

Manage a caseload of approximately 30 patients per shift.

Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Document all patient interactions and clinical details accurately using the Epic EMR system.

Ensure compliance with clinical protocols and relevant regulatory requirements.

Required Qualifications

Licensure: Active, unrestricted North Carolina (NC) license.

Certification:

Board Certification in the specialty area (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant).

BLS Certification (required).

DOT, PALS/ACLS certifications preferred but not mandatory.

Experience:

Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in an urgent care or similar outpatient setting.

Strong diagnostic and treatment skills in an urgent care environment.

Other:

Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Board Certification in the relevant specialty area is required.

Practice Setting

Facility Type: Outpatient urgent care

Patient Population: General urgent care patients
Pay Rate: $100,000 to $150,000
Work Hours & Schedule

Work Hours: Scheduled clinical hours only, Monday through Friday (no weekends or on-call shifts)
