Advanced Practice Provider - Urology PracticeWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to join a well-established urology practice in New York City. This outpatient-focused role offers the opportunity to work collaboratively with experienced urologists while delivering high-quality, patient-centered urologic care.The APP will support a subspecialty urology practice with expertise in reconstructive urology and endourology, providing exposure to advanced procedures and complex urologic conditions in a collaborative, academic-affiliated environment.This position supports the following providers, both based in New York City and affiliated with Mount Sinai:Gregory Amend, MD Specialty: Reconstructive urology, including penile implants, urologic trauma, and urinary incontinenceJohnathan Khusid, MD Specialty: Endourology, kidney and bladder stone disease, and minimally invasive techniques (PCNL, ureteroscopy)Key ResponsibilitiesProvide comprehensive outpatient urologic care under physician collaborationEvaluate and manage new and established patients with urologic conditionsConduct follow-up visits, postoperative visits, and routine office consultationsManage conditions including BPH, kidney and bladder stone disease, urinary tract infections, urinary incontinence, erectile dysfunction, and hematuriaAssist with or perform in-office urologic procedures as appropriateOrder, review, and interpret laboratory tests, imaging studies, and diagnostic proceduresPrescribe medications in accordance with New York State regulationsEducate patients on diagnoses, treatment options, procedures, and lifestyle modificationsCoordinate care with physicians, hospitals, surgical teams, and ancillary servicesEnsure timely and accurate documentation in the EMRSupport quality initiatives and evidence-based urologic careQualificationsLicensed Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in New York State (or eligible)National board certification requiredBLS required; ACLS and DEA as required by practice standards from AHA onlyPrior urology experience preferred; APPs with strong medical or surgical backgrounds will be consideredStrong clinical judgment, assessment, and diagnostic skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsCommitment to high-quality, patient-centered carePosted Salary RangeUSD $69.54 - USD $74.67 /Hr.
