We are a multi-state provider specializing in disability evaluations for Veterans, is currently seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in the North Platte, NE area.

Overview of the Position:

Job Title: Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
Location: North Platte, NE
Hours & Schedule: Monday - Friday (0800 - 1700)
Travel Required: None
Salary / Hourly Rate: $140,000 - $160,000 annually (based on experience)
Benefits: Med/Dent/Vis, PTO/Sick, Malpractice Coverage

Sign-On Bonus / Relocation Offer: Negotiable sign-on bonus or relocation assistance
On Call Required: No on-call requirements

Patient Load: 6-8 patients / day (30 mins approximate time with each patient)

Job Summary:

As a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant, you will conduct disability evaluations for Veterans in a non-treatment capacity. You will not determine disability ratings but will focus on performing detailed assessments and preparing evaluation reports.

Candidates do not need experience with these clearances, we will pay for and provide thorough onboarding and training.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough disability evaluations for Veterans, reviewing their medical history and performing physical exams
  • Document findings and prepare comprehensive reports based on evaluation outcomes
  • Collaborate with onsite support staff for smooth and efficient evaluations
  • Utilize onsite diagnostic services, including X-rays, as necessary
  • Maintain accurate and compliant medical records
  • Manage a full-time schedule within clinic operational hours

Prerequisites / License & Certification Requirements:

  • Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license in the state of Nebraska (or able to obtain)
  • Completion of US Based NP/PA Program (Excluding Puerto Rico)
  • Ability to work independently in a non-treatment setting
  • Strong attention to detail and professionalism when evaluating Veterans' health
  • Nice to have but not required: 
    • Specialization or experience in one or more of the following: Emergency Medicine, Geriatrics, Internal Medicine, Occupational Medicine, Primary Care, Sports Medicine, or Urgent Care

Requirements

  • Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license in the state of Nebraska (or able to obtain)
  • Completion of US Based NP/PA Program (Excluding Puerto Rico)
