Role Description This is a per diem, travel Nurse Practitioner for wound care based in Santa Fe Springs, CA. We visit private homes, nursing facilities, and board and care locations all over Los Angeles County, Orange County, and the Inland Empire. A typical work day would start in our office located in Santa Fe Springs and end in office after visiting all patients for the day. In this role, you will provide advanced clinical care, perform comprehensive assessments, and develop personalized treatment plans to improve patient outcomes across diverse settings. Your expertise will support both acute and chronic care management, ensuring high-quality, patient-centered services. Qualifications Active Nurse Practitioner license in the state of California Certification in Wound Care or related specialty is preferred CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications are a plus Experience working with seniors in assisted living, hospice & palliative patients, and individuals with developmental disabilities Strong clinical skills in wound assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning Knowledge of infection control protocols, HIPPA compliance standards, and sterile technique practices Strong knowledge of medical procedures related to wound management, infection prevention, and advanced dressing applications Effective communication skills to educate patients and caregivers and collaborate with healthcare teams Experience in patient documentation and proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems like WoundAlly Ability to demonstrate compassion and a patient-centered approach to care #J-18808-Ljbffr
