Description We are a fast-pace and growing privately own dermatology group located in OR and WA. We have a well established practice and are looking for a responsible, self-motivated, experienced, and enthusiastic Dermatology Nurse Practitioner to help grow our practice. Nurse Practitioner (NP) scope of practice includes the independent diagnosis, treatment, management, and the performance of dermatologic procedures. NP will provide dermatology care, including but not limited to examining and diagnosing skin-related health concerns, administering treatments, monitoring patient progress, and is responsible for making independent medical judgment decisions and discuss any difficult or challenging cases/situations with the physician. Duties include taking medical histories, performing examinations, and developing treatment plan within the scope of your practice. Guaranteed base salary and bonus structure depending on productivity. Preferably at least 1 year of experience as a licensed practitioner in the field of Dermatology. Primary Care NP are encouraged to apply as company will train the right candidate for the position. This position is Full Time with room for growth. Responsibilities Take medical histories and perform examinations Develop treatment plans within the scope of practice Provide dermatology care including independent diagnosis, treatment, management, and dermatologic procedures Examine and diagnose skin-related health concerns Administer treatments and monitor patient progress Make independent medical judgments and discuss difficult cases with the physician Assist patients throughout consultations to identify goals and help decide the correct procedure Ensure patient safety at all times and provide answers to pre-treatment and post-treatment questions Follow protocols to provide high-quality service and support back office with medical questions and patient follow ups Requirements NP licensed and 1+ yrs experience and ability to function as a provider. Training available based on experience, but you should be able to evaluate, and manage complications.
