We are seeking a qualified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Endocrinology department. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive care to patients with endocrine disorders, including diabetes, thyroid diseases, and other hormonal imbalances. The role involves conducting patient assessments, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, developing treatment plans, and providing patient education.

Responsibilities:

- Conduct patient assessments to diagnose and treat endocrine disorders

- Order and interpret diagnostic tests such as bloodwork, thyroid function tests, and glucose monitoring

- Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with the supervising physician

- Prescribe medications and monitor patient response to treatment

- Educate patients on self-management of their conditions, including medication management and lifestyle modifications

- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide integrated care for patients

Requirements:

- Current certification as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

- Specialization or experience in endocrinology is preferred

- Strong understanding of endocrine disorders and their treatment

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team

- Current licensure and registration as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in the state
