POSITION OVERVIEW
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Nurse Practitioner to join our team of top-tier human performance practitioners and applied scientists. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in functional and integrative medicine, the ability to interpret advanced lab testing, and experience developing personalized treatment plans that focus on nutrition, lifestyle changes, and targeted supplementation.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
TEAM COLLABORATION
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including medical providers, nutritionists, coaches, data scientists and other wellness professionals.
- Stay up to date with the latest advancements in functional and integrative medicine.
PERFORMANCE HEALTH ASSESSMENTS
- Conduct comprehensive client assessments, including health history and physical exams - focusing on functional and root-cause health approaches.
- Interpret advanced lab testing, including hormone panels, GI health tests, micronutrient assessments, and metabolic markers.
- Utilize integrative health & wellness principles to identify underlying imbalances.
CLIENT COMMUNICATION
- Develop and implement individualized wellness plans, incorporating nutrition, lifestyle modifications, and supplementation.
- Maintain thorough documentation of client encounters in the electronic medical record (EMR) system.
- Educate clients on nutrition, lifestyle modifications, stress management, and other health strategies.
- Educate and guide clients on holistic health strategies, detoxification, gut health, hormone balance, and chronic disease prevention.
- Monitor client progress through follow-up appointments and adjust treatment plans as needed.
REQUIRED SKILLS & ABILITIES
TECHNICAL SKILLS
- Strong understanding of advanced lab interpretation, including hormone testing, GI-MAP, micronutrient panels, and metabolic labs.
- Excellent communication and client education skills.
- Commitment to holistic health, preventive care, and client-centered wellness.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in functional medicine, integrative health & wellness, or a related field.
- Current Nurse Practitioner (NP) license in Florida and DEA number.
- Certification in functional or integrative medicine preferred (IFMCP, A4M, or similar).
- Experience with bioidentical hormone replacement therapy (BHRT) and peptide therapy is a plus.
