Make a Difference Every Day as a Residential Nurse
Schedule:  PRN/As Needed

As a Residential Nurse, you’ll play a key role in supporting the health and wellness of residents in our Transitional Services program. You’ll provide compassionate nursing care, coordinate with interdisciplinary teams, and help create a safe, supportive environment that fosters hope, stability, and growth.

This is a great opportunity for someone who is dedicated to providing high-quality care, enjoys collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, and values making a meaningful impact in the lives of individuals navigating challenging transitions.


Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct nursing care, including assessments, medication administration, and monitoring residents’ physical and mental health
  • Manage medications safely and accurately, including documentation, controlled substances, and patient education
  • Coordinate care with staff, families, physicians, and other healthcare providers
  • Observe and report changes in resident condition and respond appropriately to emergencies
  • Assist with diagnostic and treatment procedures and provide guidance to new staff on protocols
  • Participate in team and leadership meetings, and support a positive, mission-driven care environment
  • Engage with residents through individual or group activities to promote wellness and skill development
  • Perform other duties as assigned, including lifting equipment or residents when needed

Requirements, Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
High School/GED required
 • Practical Nursing certificate or Associate/Bachelor's degree in Nursing required

QUALIFICATION(S): LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION
• LPN, RN, or GPN/GN – must pass the MO NCLEX exam within 90 days of graduation
