Position: RN - Labor and Delivery Mother Baby

Duration: 13 WEEKS. EPIC CONVERSION TRAVELER
Location: Glens Falls, NY, 12801
Shift Type/Shift Times/Hours/Day: Days,7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, 12
Shift Notes: 7a - 7p ; 36 hrs/scheduled --- 24/hrs/week guarantee
Weekend Requirements: Every Other Weekend/Holiday Rotation
On-Call Requirements: TBD
COVID-19/FLU Requirement: COVID vaccinations are encouraged, but not required.
Traveler Policy: na
Dress Code: Personal scrubs of any color - No designs or cartoons. No hoodies.

- # of Beds: 20
- Snuggery: Level 1
- Patient census: average 90-100 deliveries per month
- EMR: EPIC

** Permanent address must be included in the profile. The address must match the Driver's License/State ID. The address will be validated during the compliance process. Travelers from the following counties in New York will not be considered for travel assignments (Perm address must be included in profile):

* Not required to circulate or scrub cesarean sections
* Responsible for baby in OR, and mother in PACU with a second nurse
* A shared leadership model encourages nursing engagement and decision-making at the bedside
Submission Requirements- 3-5 YEARS CURRENT EPIC EXPERIENCE REQUIRED - THIS IS NON-NEGOTIABLE
- 2+ years current L&D/LDRP experience
- 2+ years of partum experience
- Must be able to care for laboring mothers
- Mother/Baby experience
- Epic Experience
- All certificates active & current
- Ability to read & interpret EFM
- Travel experience encouraged
- Traveler candidate must have their own vehicle.
- Clinicians MUST be reliable! No attendance concerns, callouts, etc... - very patient-oriented Unit
- Work History
- Skills Checklist (pertinent to position), current to 1 year
- 1 Supervisory Signed Reference (from within the past two years of employment)
- License/Certifications - Must be uploaded with profile (Current NY License, ACLS, BLS, PERM ADDRESS - Facility will not pend license/certs)
- ACLS (AHA)
- BLS (AHA)
- NRP
- New York
- EFM or AWHONN certification is strongly encouraged
