OBGYN Physician Full-Time

Position Summary:
This full-time OBGYN Physician role focuses on providing comprehensive reproductive healthcare, including prenatal, natal, and postnatal services. The physician will deliver high-quality outpatient and inpatient care, manage chronic conditions, support patient education, and collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure safe and effective treatment.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide high-quality reproductive and gynecologic healthcare

Monitor patients throughout prenatal, labor, delivery, and postpartum phases

Perform examinations, diagnostic testing, and prescribe treatments

Deliver infants and ensure maternal and neonatal safety

Provide outpatient and inpatient medical care
-
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
-
Manage patients with ongoing or chronic conditions
-
Follow medical and administrative protocols and professional ethics

Collaborate with Medical Director regarding patient management needs

Refer patients to appropriate specialists when necessary

Participate in policy review, staff meetings, and quality improvement efforts

Prescribe medications as needed

Participate in community-centered medical home processes
-
Support compliance with state and federal regulatory guidelines
-
Serve as a preceptor for medical and advanced practice students
-
Participate in daily huddles and team meetings
-
Support nursing staff and assist in implementing procedures
-
Rotate between clinic locations as needed
Schedule:
-
Monday through Friday, 8:00 am 5:00 pm or 9:00 am 6:00 pm
-
Occasional weekends
-
On-call approximately 5 6 days per month

Required Qualifications:

Doctorate degree
-
Minimum 3 years of OBGYN experience
-
Active California Medical License
-
DEA certification
-
CDS certification
-
AHA BLS certification
-
AHA ACLS certification
-
Board certified or board eligible in OBGYN

Willingness to work the required schedule

Openness to supervisory responsibilities as needed
