OBGYN Physician Full-Time

Position Summary:
This full-time OBGYN Physician role includes providing comprehensive reproductive and women's healthcare, including prenatal, labor, delivery, and postpartum services. The physician will support patient care across outpatient and inpatient settings, manage chronic conditions, collaborate with healthcare teams, and ensure accurate documentation while maintaining high clinical standards.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide high-quality medical care to female patients

Monitor and manage prenatal, intrapartum, and postpartum care

Conduct examinations, order and review diagnostic tests, and prescribe treatments

Perform labor and delivery, ensuring safety of mother and infant

Provide outpatient and in-hospital OBGYN care

Maintain accurate medical records and documentation
-
Manage chronic reproductive and gynecologic conditions
-
Follow clinical and administrative protocols and ethical guidelines

Collaborate with leadership on patient management

Refer patients for specialty care when appropriate

Participate in staff meetings and contribute to clinical improvement efforts

Prescribe medications and therapeutic treatments

Support a patient-centered medical home model

Assist with audits for regulatory compliance

Serve as a preceptor for medical, nurse practitioner, and physician assistant students
-
Participate in daily huddles and team coordination
-
Support nursing staff and help implement clinical procedures
-
Rotate between clinic sites as needed
Schedule:
-
Monday through Friday, 8:00 am 5:00 pm or 9:00 am 6:00 pm
-
Occasional weekends
-
On-call approximately 5 6 days per month

Required Qualifications:
-
Doctorate degree
-
Minimum 3 years of experience in gynecology and obstetrics

Active California Medical License
-
DEA certification
-
CDS certification
-
AHA BLS certification
-
AHA ACLS certification
-
Board certified or board eligible in OBGYN

Willingness to participate in supervisory duties if needed

Ability to work the required schedule
