Job Overview We are seeking dedicated and experienced Occupational Health Nurses to join our dynamic healthcare team. As an Occupational Health Nurse, you will play a crucial role in promoting and maintaining the health and safety of employees in various workplace settings. This full‑time position offers opportunities across all shifts, allowing for flexibility and comprehensive coverage of our occupational health services. Qualifications Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) certification required Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred 2-5 years of experience in Occupational Health or related field Proficiency in Occupational Health practices and procedures Strong understanding of workplace safety regulations and OSHA standards Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Proficient in electronic health records (EHR) systems and Microsoft Office Suite Certification in Occupational Health Nursing (COHN) is a plus Responsibilities Health Assessments and Screenings Conduct pre‑employment, annual, and job‑specific health assessments Perform various health screenings, including vision tests, audiometry, and spirometry Administer drug and alcohol screenings as per company policy Evaluate employees' fitness for duty and provide recommendations Injury and Illness Management Provide immediate care for work‑related injuries and illnesses Assess and triage occupational injuries and illnesses Develop and implement treatment plans for minor injuries Coordinate referrals to specialists or emergency services when necessary Manage workers' compensation cases and maintain accurate documentation Health Education and Promotion Develop and deliver health education programs for employees Conduct training sessions on various health and safety topics Promote wellness initiatives and encourage healthy lifestyle choices Provide one‑on‑one counseling on health‑related matters Workplace Safety Participate in workplace safety inspections and risk assessments Identify potential health hazards and recommend preventive measures Collaborate with safety teams to develop and implement safety protocols Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety policies Case Management Manage return‑to‑work programs for injured or ill employees Coordinate with healthcare providers, HR, and management on employee cases Monitor and evaluate the progress of employees under medical care Develop modified duty plans to facilitate safe return to work #J-18808-Ljbffr
