Occupational Health Registered Nurse

Occupational Health Registered Nurse (BH-390080) Location: Los Angeles, United States | Sector: Medical & Nursing | Salary: $52.00 to $57.00 per hour We are looking for an Occupational Health Registered Nurse for a full‑time, year‑plus contract based in Downtown Los Angeles. The clinic offers occupational, primary, and preventive care for employees similar to an urgent care setting but focused on adults. Workforce hours are Monday through Friday from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm (30‑minute lunch). This position may lead to a permanent role. Responsibilities Conduct nursing assessment, triage, treatment, and education for employee health concerns. Administer first‑aid and medical tests including EKG, audiometry, spirometry, vision, pulmonary function, blood glucose and pressure, cholesterol, and drug testing. Participate in plant safety and ergonomic programs. Provide ambulatory care for common conditions such as sore throats, ear aches, rashes, and pink eye. Assist with DOT medical exams and first‑responder medical emergencies. Qualifications Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in California. Minimum three years of nursing experience. Training in spirometry (NIOSH certified). Audio‑metry testing certification (CAOHC/COHC). DOT breath‑alcohol testing and urine drug collector certification. Previous experience in occupational health, emergency medicine, urgent care, primary care, family medicine, school nursing, or corrections setting. BLS/CPR certified. Passionate about promoting health and wellbeing in the workplace. Professional, dedicated, friendly, and helpful demeanor. Recent clinical experience and strong first‑aid skills.
