Full-time Occupational Medicine Physician Needed

We seek a qualified Occupational Medicine Physician to become an integral part of our team. This position involves evaluating and managing the health needs of our patients, with a focus on injury and illness prevention in the workplace. A solid understanding of workplace health regulations is crucial, alongside the capability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders. Our mission is to promote the health and well-being of our employees and the communities we serve, delivering comprehensive occupational health services that boost workplace safety and enhance productivity.

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9 to 5 pm

Salary: $275,000 to $320,000 a year with full benefits

Job Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough medical evaluations and examinations
  • Diagnose and treat injuries and illnesses, providing appropriate medical care and follow-up.
  • Develop and implement health programs to promote well-being and prevent occupational hazards.
  • Collaborate with HR, safety personnel, and management to address workplace health concerns and improve safety protocols.
  • Provide training and education on health and safety issues to employees and management.
  • Perform fitness-for-duty assessments and return-to-work evaluations.
  • Stay current with occupational health regulations and guidelines, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal laws.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential medical records and documentation.
  • Participate in workplace health initiatives, health screenings, and vaccination programs.

Requirements

  • Medical Doctor or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from an accredited institution.
  • Board certification in Occupational Medicine, Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Emergency Medicine.
  • DOT certification preferred.
  • DEA number and NPI required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in occupational health, workplace safety, or a related area.
  • Valid medical license to practice in Colorado state.
  • Experience in occupational health, workplace safety, or a related area preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
