This position offers a dynamic mix of inpatient and outpatient therapy services, providing the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population. CHRISTUS Mother Frances Hospital - Winnsboro is a state-of-the-art critical access hospital recognized for providing exceptional care in a close-knit, community-centered environment. The hospital offers advanced imaging, surgical services, a 24/7 emergency department, and a comprehensive rehabilitation program, ensuring that the patients receive high-quality care close to home. Located in the beautiful Piney Woods of East Texas, Winnsboro is a charming small town known for its welcoming community, scenic landscapes, and vibrant arts scene. Key Responsibilities: Evaluate, develop, and implement individualized treatment plans for patients with physical, cognitive, or developmental challenges. Provide both inpatient and outpatient therapy services, tailoring interventions to each patient's needs. Utilize evidence-based therapy techniques to improve patients' functional abilities in daily activities. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care. Educate patients and their families on adaptive techniques, equipment usage, and home exercise programs. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress in accordance with regulatory and facility guidelines. Ensure compliance with state and federal healthcare regulations and CHRISTUS Health standards. Requirements: Education: Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program. Licensure: Current Texas Occupational Therapist license (or eligibility to obtain). Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required. Experience: Prior experience in a healthcare or rehabilitation setting is preferred but not required. Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
