Shift: Monday through Thursday 8:00 AM 12:00 PM

Position Overview:
Birch Agency is seeking a dedicated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to support students during an Extended School Year (ESY) program near Crest Hill, Illinois. This is a short-term, in-person opportunity running from June 8 through July 13, ideal for professionals looking to make an impact over the summer months.

Schedule:

• Monday through Thursday

• 8:00 AM 12:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide occupational therapy services to students under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist

• Assist in implementing individualized therapy plans and IEP goals

• Support students in developing fine motor, sensory, and daily living skills

• Collaborate with therapists, teachers, and staff

• Maintain accurate documentation of student progress

Qualifications:

• Associates degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program

• Active Illinois COTA license

• Previous school-based or pediatric experience preferred

• Strong communication and organizational skills

Compensation:

• Competitive hourly pay ranging from $35 to $40 per hour, based on experience
