Occupational Therapist Apply
Position Summary:
The Occupational Therapist is responsible for evaluating the functional needs of patients with physical disabilities, developing treatment goals, and implementing tailored therapy plans using a variety of occupational therapy techniques. This role involves providing care to patients of all ages, taking into account their developmental stage.
Must-Haves:
- Graduation from an accredited occupational therapy program
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree
- Licensure to practice Occupational Therapy in the State of Idaho (candidates may apply before graduation or licensure)
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Job Description:
$15,000 Sign-on Bonus & Relocation Assistance Available
Primary (Essential) Duties:
- Conduct objective assessments of each referred patient's baseline level of self-care function, based on their treatment diagnosis.
- Identify functional needs and set appropriate treatment outcome goals.
- Develop and implement treatment programs aimed at achieving or making significant progress toward those outcome goals.
Hours:
Normal working hours are 8 a.m. 5 p.m., Monday Friday, though schedules may vary depending on business requirements.
Shift Differentials:
- Evening Shift (3 p.m. 11:30 p.m.) = 8%
- Night Shift (11 p.m. 7:30 a.m.) = 11%
- No Weekend Differential
Minimum Requirements:
- Graduation from an accredited occupational therapy program with at least a bachelor's degree
- Licensure to practice Occupational Therapy in the State of Idaho (candidates may apply prior to graduation or licensure)
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
