Our client, devoted to delivering top-notch rehabilitation services to their residents, is currently searching for a highly motivated and experienced Occupational Therapist to join their vibrant team near the Dubuque area. Position Overview:

In the role of an Occupational Therapist, candidates will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional patient care. The Occupational Therapist is responsible for planning, developing, implementing, and monitoring high-quality occupational therapy care and services to residents. This role is consistent with regulations and established rehabilitation policies, procedures, and best practices, reflecting our commitment to excellence in healthcare.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct care to residents with physician-ordered evaluation and treatment based upon regulations and established rehabilitative procedures and best practices.
  • Conduct thorough assessments to determine patients' rehabilitation needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
  • Provide effective therapy services to patients.
  • Complete necessary portions of MDS/QMDS/care plans as required.
  • Monitor and document patient progress accurately.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Stay updated on the latest occupational therapy techniques and best practices.
  • Provide patient and family education to maximize treatment outcomes.
Qualifications:
  • Graduate from an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
  • Possess a valid Occupational Therapist license in Iowa or eligibility to obtain one.
  • Preferably have experience in a clinic or long-term care rehab setting.
  • Demonstrate strong clinical and interpersonal skills.
  • Show dedication to patient-centered care and a passion for enhancing lives.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development.
